Tithing Based Program

As a community of believers we work together to raise our children in the Catholic Faith. We firmly believe in Jesus’ teaching of Stewardship: the giving of one’s time, talent and treasure as a return gift to God for his many blessings. Our School of Religion Program requires that you are tithing with the church regularly with a Family Minimum per calendar year of $780 (which is $15 weekly) as well as being Active Members. Your child as a member of our community will not be denied religious education if this requirement can not be reached. We are here to help you achieve this requirement and encourage you to share any concerns you may have regarding your family’s ability to meet the minimum. Please contact anyone on the Stewardship Committee to confidentially discuss any alternative arrangements you feel may be necessary.

To help you maintain your weekly tithing requirement you may want to consider using our Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) option. Click here for a downloadable version for your convenience. You may still use monthly envelopes if you choose this option (great way to teach your child(ren) on the ways we give back.

If you have any further questions regarding our program, please feel free to contact Tracie Kersey. Contact information is on the SOR main page.
