Who belongs to
Altar Society?

All women of the parish 18 years or older are considered members of the Altar Society. We meet the third Monday of the month from August through May in the church in room 33.
What about
Fund Raising?

We collect dues in the spring, have bake sales the second Sunday of the month and offer donuts to the parish the first Sunday of the month. We use our funds to meet the parish needs for both the Altar and funeral dinners.

How can you serve our Parish through the
Altar Society?

  • You can sign up to serve at various receptions for the parish and the School of Religion.

  • You can sign up to help with the Bake Sale or to serve Donuts.

  • You can help with Funeral Dinners: A calling committee of members phones parishioners and ask them to prepare a specific food for the dinner. Altar Society members serve the meal to the bereaved family and friends.

  • You can sign up to assist with the Sanctuary and Sacristy cleaning on Fridays

  • You can help with the Altar Linen care and maintenance
