Dear Sacred Heart,

That's right! Construction begins on the church's worship space and will last approximately four to five months.

Construction of the church nave (worship space) will begin on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.  Unfortunately, as originally planned and hoped for, we will not be able to occupy the church while construction is going on.  Therefore, we will need to celebrate "Weekend Mass" in the Multi Purpose Center.  The good news however, the construction time is only expected to last four to five months.

We will however be able to celebrate most "Weekday Masses" in the meeting rooms off the narthex (lobby) of the church.  There will be more specific information communicated closer to that time.  For now, we have just a few things to note regarding this, as well as a few reminders:

1. All Masses Tuesday through Friday will be in the Church Meeting Rooms
2. All Masses Saturday through Monday will be in the Multipurpose Center
3. We originally planned to do the whole project (Church and Narthex) at the same time, but we only have the monies for the church at this time, so we will consider this portion of the project Phase One. The Narthex will be completed as monies become available to fund Phase II.
4. On that point, it is important to reiterate, that all monies we have has been designated and raised from the Archdiocese Capital Campaign several years ago as well as donations from parishioners designated for this endeavor.  No parish operating funds are being used for this project and we have the money necessary to complete Phase One.
