Eucharist
The Eucharist is the Source and Summit of our faith. Through transubstantiation, bread is transformed into the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ in the Real Presence. We can grow in our relationship with Him through this great gift He left us—Himself.
Jesus waits for us in Adoration. As Bl. Carlo Acutis said, “When we face the sun we get a tan, but when we stand before Jesus in the Eucharist we become saints.” In Adoration, we spend time face-to-face with the Lord, and this time with Him renews us, focuses our attention on Him, opens our hearts to grace, strengthens our ability to avoid sin, brings peace, and deepens our friendship with our Savior.
We are blessed to be able to receive Jesus physically—every day, if we come to Mass. If simply touching the tassel of Jesus’ cloak healed, imagine what receiving Him in the Eucharist could do for you.
